Journey at Sea

When I first arrived, I was restless and visited the Shops & Market Places in San Francisco where I had met an old friend of our family. He had heard of me on his last visit with my father and wanted to meet me. I fell in love at first sight and will marry this man. He makes my heart sing whenever he is near. My parents approve of him and he has already become part of this family. I am in a frenzy preparing my Wedding Dress and I feel his mother's eyes on me constantly and know when she disapproves of my choices. My dress is gorgeous and his mother has given me her pearls to wear for my big day. In two days time I, Nancy Elizabeth Combs will become Mrs. Brian Edmond Frasier. The Beginning....

Book 2 will be available March 2011 for $20.00 plus postage. "Journey at Sea" is a continuing story of Nancy Elizabeth Combs. It is also a Block of the Month for quilters.. stay tuned for a sample. pat skinner

Applique

Learning to applique I made this bird in the wrong direction so I had to make another. I call it "Hello There". The pattern came from a Guild Member for BOM but I kept mine. You can see the difference between the two birds. pat s
